According to Soule, it goes to fund agency operations. Surprisingly, there are people in government who are just as upset about that as you are probably right now. “Allowing TSA to keep unclaimed taxpayer money for any and all purposes is an egregious breach of its duty to the public that it serves,” wrote Rep.
